Weekly News and Updates

Apologies this is later than usual, below is an update on the horse for the week.

We are looking for entries for a few of the horses and will post these up as they occur.

Horses Overview

Haats Off ran her usual gallant race at Bath last week, after being badly hampered at the start she stuck on well to be a fast finishing second, beating some nice horses, including horses that had previously been running at listed level. The ground wasn't quite as soft as we would have liked but she's come out of it well and we will hopefully find somewhere for her to get her head in front soon.

Toolatetodelegate, we were gutted she unfortunately didn't get in for her intended engagement tomorrow back at Kempton, being rated 56 in a 0-55 race she was always going to be the first to come out but we had our fingers crossed! With such small field numbers there it wasn't to be, she is in great order and ready to go as soon as an appropriate race comes up. She was so unlucky last week at Kempton with Nicola coming back in and saying she never came off the bridle but she just had no where to go.

Call Sign Charlie is working away and is on a new supplement to help her as well. She will have another school next week before we find another entry for her. She will also have a hood on from now on to try and help keep her relaxed.

Robin De Broome was found to be a little sore after exercise the other day so was examined by the vet who said just to back off him for a couple of weeks before bringing him back into full work. Nothing major, just a few runs on quick ground has taken its toll. He is still in light exercise and will be back in no time, over fences hopefully.

Machiato has stepped up his work under the watchful eye of Ian Williams and we will be look to organise a stable visit before Christmas to see him in action.

Clondaw Whisper is still impressing us all, his work is very good and he had a very good schooling session with Luca Morgan the other day, doing plenty. He is quite a buzzy type and loves his work but he channels it well which is great.

Hard To Forget ran a pleasing race in his debut for the club, he performed as expected and will come on from that race, he really would prefer a longer trip and softer ground which will come to us shortly we hope. Trainer Henry Oliver was very pleased with him and he ran his race and is an exciting prospect.

Archie, is making the move this week o Brian Barr who has some ideas to revive him and get him back in winning form.

Rocket Ronnie is enjoying a short break, we are keen to get him back out for another trip over hurdles soon before switching to the flat was the ground turns.

SWISS SPIRIT X ANNIE KENNEY, is now broken and ridden and is going steadily round the round canter at the minute until she finds her new trainer!

STYLE VENDOME x LITTLE SHAMBLES, Ginger has now been backed and is working away in the lunge pen, pictures of her will be uploaded this week.

Prairie Light & Foal, Has now been weaned and we will be monitoring her development to see how she starts to come on.
