Adrian Wintle has been involved in horses from a young age, hailing from a long generation of the Wintle family who have been involved with horse racing since the 1900’s.
Adrian’s early career began as an amateur jockey, where he rode nearly 200 winners, he then started combining his riding career with training Point-to-Point horses, gradually towards the end of his riding career it was a natural progression to focus more on training as a profession.
Adrian holds a dual-purpose licence which enables training of both National Hunt and Flat race horses. They are a small and successful team with ever-growing facilities, Adrian strives to make his owners racing experience as friendly and enjoyable as possible.
Yew Tree Stables is a family-run farm and training establishment of Adrian Wintle Racing Ltd situated in the rural Gloucestershire village of Rodley, with picturesque countryside views and the river Severn running through the land.
A self-contained racing yard with modern facilities comprising of: Private gallop, horse walker, 4f circular uphill gallop, Olympic sized outdoor school, plenty of peaceful turn-out and quiet country lanes.
Being centrally located (15 minutes from junction 11/12 of the M5) with easy access from motorways and within easy reach of many Midlands racecourses such as; Cheltenham, Worcester, Stratford, Warwick.
